Pasadena City Hall is renowned for its stunning blend of Mediterranean Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival architectural styles, completed in 1927. This iconic landmark never fails to captivate, and if you’re a fan of the hit TV show Parks and Recreation, you might recognize it from there. This photograph beautifully showcases the timeless charm and architectural grandeur of City Hall.

One particular evening, I felt inspired to preserve the essence of City Hall as day transitioned into night. It’s that magical moment when the warm glow of sunset bathes the building in golden light, and the courtyard lights flicker to life, adding an extra touch of elegance to this historic gem. I carefully selected a vantage point under one of the graceful arches along the east walkway. From there, I framed the grand structure with the central fountain proudly anchoring the courtyard—an homage to the timeless beauty of Pasadena City Hall.
