"Let Your Light Shine"
Los Angeles, CA
The Gas Lamp exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is a large-scale assemblage sculpture by Chris Burden. It consists of 202 restored street lamps from the 1920s and 1930s, arranged in a grid on the museum’s Wilshire Boulevard lawn. I took this black-and-white photograph at night and titled it “Let Your Lights Shine,” showcasing the enchanting glow and timeless elegance of the illuminated lamps against the dark sky.
