“Summer Days” – a photograph that reminds me to embrace the unexpected. On my way back from the California Central Coast, I stopped at Morro Bay, hoping for a dramatic sunset. Instead, I was met with a cloudless sky—no golden glow, no striking colors. Disappointed, I considered leaving early, but something told me to stay.

I grabbed my camera and wandered the shoreline, soaking in the peaceful afternoon. Watching surfers glide effortlessly across the waves, I started shooting—not for perfection, but for the sheer joy of it.
