"Go With the Flow"
Bishop, CA
Bishop Creek—where childhood memories of camping and fishing with my dad come rushing back. As a kid, I’d sit by these waters, casting lines and soaking in the crisp mountain air. Now, decades later, I found myself in the very same spot, this time with my daughter by my side—she’s the same age I was back then. It felt like time had come full circle. “Go with the Flow” is not only a picture but a reminder that life is constantly moving forward.
Armed with a new ND filter, I set up for a long exposure, eager to capture the creek’s graceful flow framed by the vibrant autumn colors. After a four-minute wait, the preview appeared on the camera screen—silky water winding through a golden landscape. It was more than just a photograph; it was a tribute to the past and a memory shared with my daughter—a fleeting, beautiful moment that reminded me of where I came from and where life has taken me.
