I absolutely love the California Central Coast! One of my favorite destinations is Morro Bay, home to the iconic Morro Rock. This colossal volcanic plug towers 576 feet above the shoreline and stands as one of California’s most unique Historic Landmarks. During my visit, I couldn’t help but feel humbled by its sheer presence. Sitting in the sand, I framed the golden grass in the foreground and patiently awaited sunset, hoping to capture the sky’s magical transformation, then I capture this photograph, “Mighty Rock.”

There’s something undeniably special about Morro Bay that keeps drawing me back. Each time I visit, I’m filled with excitement to witness the natural wonders that make this place unforgettable.
