"Roadtrip"

Bishop, CA

Dawn has always been my favorite time to capture landscapes—peaceful, quiet, and untouched by crowds. During one unforgettable weekend roadtrip, my daughter and I woke up early in Bishop, CA and started driving along Highway 168 as the first light kissed the Sierra Nevada mountains when we came to the perfect spot to capture this photograph I call “Roadtrip.”

As the sun rose behind us, the peaks lit up like matchsticks igniting the sky—a breathtaking sight that made the early start worth it. Standing there with my daughter, surrounded by nature’s brilliance, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the adventure and the memory we created together.
